Welcome to Ebony Rose Ski Club
ERSC was founded in 1984 by a group of African-Americans, who were avid skiers, and wanted to share their enthusiasm for the sport of skiing with other ethnic minorities. Today, the club consists of members from diverse educational and professional backgrounds whose goals are to participate in healthy, positive activities that foster fitness and enriched fellowship.
Ebony Rose is involved in a variety of activities including skiing, snowboarding, bowling, camping, club social nights/days, fundraising, movie night, travel and more. The club’s activity schedule is constantly evolving according to the wishes of the membership. Activities are designed for everyone from singles to couples to entire families.
Whether you are interested in winter sports (recreational or competitive) or summer sports and recreation, ERSC has something to offer everyone. ERSC has youth, adult and family programs ranging from beginners to intermediate to experts. We are here for your satisfaction and enjoyment.

In fact, it is the clubs who play the primary role of introducing the youth to winter sports. It is an organization where can participate with thousands of people of color who ski, snowboard and party with a PURPOSE.
The NBS has a mission to identify, develop, and support athletes of color who will win international and Olympic winter sports competitions representing the US. The goal is to have broader ethnic representation on the US Olympic sports teams. To that end, the NBS provides encouragement, training, and financial support to develop young skiers and snowboarders who are elite-level competitive athletes.
